Today, ampless stomping is quickly becoming a trend among modern guitarists and musicians who enjoy a variety of pedals and amps but don’t have the luxury of a roadie crew to tune them all around.

Amp Academy inherits the NUX TSAC-2K (White-box Amp Modeling) algorithm, delivering the sound and feel of world-class tube amps in a super-portable stompbox case. And its massive headroom and dynamic range are a pedalboard platform.

Applications

On stage:

Add Amp Academy to any pedal chain and connect to a mixer or PA system for excellent tone, control, and flexibility during live performances.

Monitor through the built-in monitoring system or in-ear monitors.

For a dedicated personal monitor on stage, connect the pedalboard to a powered FRFR speaker.

The 1024-sample IR resolution with third-party IR loader capability makes it easy to take your favorite amp sound anywhere.

Note: 6 IR slots (with Amp slot), 12 custom Choptone IRs + 16 user 32-bit/48kHz slots (the amp will automatically convert to WAV format). You can get 10 free factory IRs when you download the editing software.

Note: Because Amp Academy is designed to deliver amp and cab tones, it’s not recommended to connect Amp Academy directly to a guitar amp. If you’re using the same pedalboard with both an amp and a direct output, simply toggle the IR Out switch to the down position to bypass the IR signal when using the board with a guitar amp. (We recommend connecting a power amp’s 1/4″ OUT to the amp in/return.) Connect the IR signal via DI Out to a powered FRFR speaker or PA system.

(Note: If you want to toggle IR signal on/off with DI OUT, please hold the A/B switch and turn on the pedal. IR ON: A/B indicators flash 3 times. IR OFF: A/B indicators do not flash.)

In The Studio:

Connect Amp Academy directly to a recording interface for instant, great guitar tone without the need to set up an amp or microphones. (Set the IR output toggle switch to the ON position if you want to use the IR signal for the 1/4″ OUT. If you want to toggle the IR signal between the DI OUT and the A/B footswitch, hold the A/B footswitch and turn on the pedal. IR ON: The A/B indicators flash 3 times. IR OFF: The A/B indicators do not flash.)

At Home (Silent Practice):

Connect headphones or monitors directly to the Amp Academy 1/8-inch phone to experience immersive classic amp tones in a natural-sounding room without an amplifier.

Amp Academy features six legendary amp models, including Vintage (Fender Twin Reverb), Classic (Fender Vibro King), Modern (Mesa Boogie Mark I), Brown (HBE Servoman), Red (Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier), and Iridium (Bogner Uberschall). The iconic TSAC-2K (White-Box algorithm) Amp Modeling provides a realistic amp feel and a quick response for playability.

Amp A/B Footswitch and Scene Footswitch

The A/B footswitch lets you instantly switch between clean amp style and crunch amp style. Additionally, the scene footswitch can sequentially select SCENE1, SCENE2, and SCENE3. You can save your own custom settings with 3 scenes, meeting all your live application needs.

How do you ship packages?

Packages from our warehouse in China will be shipped by ePacket or EMS depending on the weight and size of the product. Packages shipped from our US warehouse are shipped through USPS.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We provide free shipping to over 200 countries around the world. However, there are some locations we are unable to ship to. If you happen to be located in one of those countries we will contact you.

What about customs?

We are not responsible for any custom fees once the items have been shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive to your country.

How long does shipping take?

Do you provide tracking information?

Yes, you will receive an email once your order ships that contains your tracking information. If you haven’t received tracking info within 5 days, please contact us.

My tracking says “no information available at the moment”.

For some shipping companies, it takes 2-5 business days for the tracking information to update on the system. If your order was placed more than 5 business days ago and there is still no information on your tracking number, please contact us.

Will my items be sent in one package?

For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase will sometimes be sent in separate packages, even if you've specified combined shipping.

RETURNS

Order cancellation

All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.

Refunds

Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Therefore, you can request a refund or reshipment for ordered products if:

If you did not receive the product within the guaranteed time( 45 days not including 2-5 day processing) you can request a refund or a reshipment.
If you received the wrong item you can request a refund or a reshipment.
If you do not want the product you’ve received you may request a refund but you must return the item at your expense and the item must be unused.

We do not issue the refund if:

Your order did not arrive due to factors within your control (i.e. providing the wrong shipping address)
Your order did not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of Selectafex (i.e. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster).
Other exceptional circumstances outside the control of

If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

If for any reason you would like to exchange your product, perhaps for a different size in clothing. You must contact us first and we will guide you through the steps.
